Baking ist the best way to relax and simultaniously gives happieness to others.

my name is Hera and I am,

the baking historian. As this title implies, I am a historian and linguist who has chosen patisserie as hobby. Even as a child, I was completely convinced by the combination of reading a historical novel and eating homemade macaroons, because immersing myself in a bygone era and at the same time indulging in the decadent pleasure of desserts is the key to happiness.

One day I decided that I wanted to share this feeling and I created all kinds of delicacies for my family and friends. The circle of those who also wanted a piece of it grew and so I decided to share all my recipes, some of them are traditional and all of them tested. They are packed with a lot of love and my memories.

  • I live in Bavaria, my birthplace, because only in Bavaria the sky white and blue.

  • I am an INTP... an introvert – intuitive – thinker and observer.

  • Three things I love the most: my children and my husband.

  • My passion is baking and I was inspired by the talented hands of my mom and aunts.

  • I am 29 years old and some more.

  • I have been suffering from fructose malabsorption, lactose intolerance and a peanut allergy for several years, which is why I am not allowed to try my own sweet treats.

  • I firmly believe that good food can unite and connect people.
